Under Vehicle Search Mirror
The Under-Vehicle Search Mirror (UVSM) is a wide-angle illuminated convex mirror mounted on castor wheels which is used for searching the underside of vehicles. The unit has a long handle, with a non-slip grip, which swings down to the horizontal for maximum reach under vehicles. Illumination is provided by a magnetically attached LED wand which can be detached and used as a search lamp.

Independent verification by the USA Transport Security Administration confirmed that using the AXIS-3D® system significantly improved the probability of an operator detecting a threat item when compared with conventional systems.
